ALPHA INDUSTRIES is a military brand established in 1959. It's a major supplier to the U.S. military even today, and has also earned a reputation as a pioneer designing cutting-edge items, which may be best represented by the MA-1, a flight jacket that has many fans. The MA-1 originated as the successor to the A-2 flight jacket in 1945.
This LIGHT MA-1 jacket is based on the L-2B flight jacket (the lightweight, all-season variant of the MA-1) and is basically a normal MA-1 jacket with all the padding removed. It presents a striking silhouette and comes with a detachable hood, making it more stylistically versatile. The actual fabric has a high-quality texture with just the right amount of sheen.
