When I was in junior high school, I was in awe when I saw Inoue Arts' MosuGoji & Baragon on display at a local model store. I spent my time in that store and was immersed in the garage kit culture of Kaiyodo, GENEPRO, and others, which has continued to the present day.

While making use of the worldview of the World Collectable Figures, the diorama composition focuses on grouping figures together to enhance the depth of the scene. We took on the challenge of creating a large-scale model by utilizing our large number of staff members at the studio. The prototype was created through strong teamwork, to the point that it is unlikely that such a large creation will ever be made again in the future within a limited time period. This work was created in an environment where multiple people could work simultaneously remotely, which is something that could not have been imagined in the days of traditional sculpting.

For this figure, what was difficult and yet interesting about the coloring of this Blackbeard prototype was the large amount of detail included. Sculptor Profile

He made his debut as a prototype sculptor for the first time in 2007 with his first figure ever to be released in the market. After working part-time for a manufacturer and as an employee of a prototype production company, he eventually began working as a freelance prototype maker in 2015.

I put a lot of thought into modeling the figures, envisioning the cherished moments shared by the characters and the ambiance around them. This competition allowed me to focus on the details of a figure like never before.
